Full Moon in Aries ~ October 3/4, 2009

Aries by UniquecellThe Moon becomes full in bold and pioneering Aries on October 4 at 2:10 a.m. Eastern (October 3 at 11:10 p.m. Pacific time). Full moons signify the completion, culmination of what was initiated during the previous New Moon in Virgo which, among other things, encouraged us to be of service to others.

This Full Moon in Aries highlights the balance between the self (who I am) and the shared self (who I am in a relationship); the potential of our individual selves and our partnerships; and the consideration of another's needs as they pertain to our own basic needs.

On the day the moon becomes full, Mercury (thought) in Virgo (analytical) and Mars (action) in Cancer (intuitive) harmoniously link up, while both connect with Neptune (enlightenment) and Uranus (radical change). During this full moon phase, well-planned decisions and actions, even those helped by insightful intuition, are sure to produce intended results, especially if they are representative of the Aries-Full Moon ideals. This Full Moon occurs at 11 degrees in Aries.

Those born within 3 days of October 3 or April 1; or those with natal planets/house angles on or around 11 degrees of Aries, Libra, Cancer, or Capricorn may feel the effects of this full moon stronger than others.

For me, this full moon falls in my natal 7th house of partnerships and blends energies with my natal Chiron and Moon, while transiting Jupiter also harmonizes with my natal Moon. This full moon phase offers me an opportunity (Jupiter) for healing (Chiron) a broken heart (Moon) and/or a renewal with relationship-related issues (7th house), including the identity of the self (1st house) within a relationship.
