Since July 1st Uranus has been retrograde, revisiting steps he's already taken and reviewing them more closely. On December 1st at 3:27 p.m. (EST), he changes his course and begins moving forward again. What did he learn these past five months? What did he scrutinize? What did he reform? What did he refuse to conform to? In Pisces, the possibilities are endless since the Piscean psyche is without boundaries.

Around the same time Uranus was retrograde, Neptune was as well. With Neptune in Aquarius while Uranus is in Pisces, these two planets are said to be in mutual reception since they are in each other's signs of rulership. Uranus governs the sign Aquarius, while Neptune rules Pisces. The advantage of two planets in mutual reception is that the energies between them are free flowing. They "get" each other, even if by nature they are far different from one another.

Together, in each other's signs, they awaken, enlighten, are compelled to act upon convictions, and are driven by the will for improvement. Since both Uranus and Neptune are very slow moving planets, their implications have a global reach. But their influence on a personal level is also just as powerful, albeit subtle. Neptune recently began moving direct again. Now, they will each make a third pass to the same paths they've each already traveled on. What may have been "awakened" earlier this year, and went through a "review" process the past few months, will now be "relived" again. This third pass, however, brings culmination or definitive answers or the final step to issues, events, situations from earlier in the year.

Adding to Uranus and Neptune moving direct and in mutual reception, is the promising and rare Triple Conjunction that Neptune is currently a participant of. These are exciting times. We need only to have faith and resolve to jump start projects, long term goals, major life decisions, or life-altering movements. Pluto and Saturn are more than happy to pick up, develop, and carry out well-planned actions, as they square dance through to 2010.

Although none of us are immune to the sky's influence, as Uranus and the Triple Conjunction retrace their steps once more, those with natal planets and/or house angles on or around 23-26 degrees of Aquarius, Pisces, Leo, or Virgo may be affected more strongly than others.

On a separate note -- the same day and a few hours after Uranus' direction change, Venus will switch signs and enter the expansive, philosophical sign of Sagittarius.

How will Uranus' direction change influence your life? Look to the Pisces-ruled house and match the sign and 23-26 degrees on your birth chart. Unsure if you have natal planets/house planets at these degrees? Cast your own birth chart for use as reference -- birth date, time, and place required.
