Continuing from last week's big energy shifts, we hav more to look forward to this week. Just as Saturn (reality) continues to station in preparation for full direct motion, Neptune (psyche) does the opposite and stations to retrograde, joining Pluto (endings). Neptune's retrograde starts off the work week on Monday, May 30; she will remain retrograde until November 7.

The heavens give us a "quieter" middle of the week. But just as the weekend begins, Chiron (healing) also begins his 5-month retrograde cycle on Friday, June 4, the same day Mars and Neptune gets in a tug of war. Tensions rise. The more we push our own agenda, the more the other side may choose to retreat, giving no indication of wanting to communicate. Assertiveness instead of aggression; discussions instead of demands might be the wiser course of action if results are expected.

By week's end on Sunday, Jupiter (luck) leaves mellow Pisces for enterprising Aries, where he remains until September 9, just enough time to get incite some fun, exciting "trouble" with Uranus.

For U.S. Pacific coasters, Sunday night also brings another shift in the sky. Just before midnight (Monday, 2am Eastern), Mars (action) leaves Leo after an extra long transit that began last year in October. Mars' transit in Virgo begins on June 6 (June 7, for some) where he remains until July 29. In Virgo, our actions are more measured and well thought-out.

Aries-Sun or Rising ~ Even if Uranus is now rockin' and rollin' in your sign, there may be a 'sleepiness' to the week. The pace picks up as the weekend approaches, however. A growing conflict or difference of opinion with a friend comes to a head by week's end. Handle it however you see fit, but understand that how you act/react is directly related to whether or not you'll get results or whether those results will clarify anything.

Taurus-Sun or Rising ~ So much confusion still. It's understandable you want make the right decisions, but choosing to stand still while waiting to arrive at what's right may leave you waiting ... and waiting ... and waiting when you can be living. Sometimes it's more important to just make a choice. Right now. One step. One direction. One choice leads to what enlightens you towards the next step. This week, just be brave enough to take one small step, make one small choice.

Gemini-Sun or Rising ~ woops. Well, that did not turn out anywhere near what you imagined it might. Funny, how that happens. Don't worry too much, though. Repercussions will not be as terrible as you initially perceive them to be. What's more important though is how you react and the actions you choose to take going forward. Remind yourself of your true objective/s and make your decisions/actions reflect those.

Cancer-Sun or Rising ~ oh dear... how difficult it is to just sit still! So much nervous energy when there's really nothing to be nervous about. It feels like you might burst if you stop moving, thinking, doing. Go ahead and wear yourself out, then. There's no rush though. Keep working, doing, moving until you've used up all your energy then sit back for a bit and see all that you'd gotten accomplished. This week, stick to your own pace, however fast or slow it is. The need to accomplish is great but there's no rush.

Leo-Sun or Rising ~ Something from the past may show up or something you didn't know about comes to light. It may not be pleasant but must be dealt with, nonetheless. Be direct but not overbearing. Speak your mind and make sure you are heard. Then, brush it off your shoulders because whatever it is, no longer matters. It's done. Do your best to make peace with it.

Virgo-Sun or Rising ~ There's nothing worse than a trusted friend, colleague, or partner screwing you over. It really kind of rocks your core, doesn't it? Don't get stuck with what's been done and how. Another's action is just that. It's their action. It has nothing to do with you or who you are or whether or not you've done anything to encourage their action. It sounds trite to say, 'it's them, not you' but in this case, it is. So, go about your business and pay it nor more mind. Give it no more of your energy.

Libra-Sun or Rising ~ When you love what you do, it doesn't seem so much like work. That must really be the secret to life and living and working. This week, love what you do and be conscious of it. Love the little things that surround your immediate environment. Love what makes your daily experiences quirky and unique, even if they also can be annoying at times. Flaws and imperfections can be just as endearing and worthwhile of your time and energy.

Scorpio-Sun or Rising ~ Don't look at what you can see. I didn't really need to tell you that though. You already know that what lies beneath the surface may hold the truth you seek. It's a bit like searching for a needle in a haystack. It won't be that difficult though. There is a time to everything...what you seek now is ready to come to light. What's more important, however, is whether or not you are prepared for what you discover.

Sagittarius-Sun or Rising ~ oooooh, what is that?! You had it. Just right there. On the tip of your tongue. Then, poof. It's gone. How frustrating! Let it go for now. Just be mindful and aware for signs that trigger what got away from you. Work keeps you busy enough. There might be drama on the home front or with family. Or maybe that's just the past catching up with you. Stick with what's routine and practical this week. Keep your mind open for insight.

Capricorn-Sun or Rising ~ You know what hurts? It hurts to think that no matter what you do or how hard you work, it never seems enough. More, more, more. They require more. Who are 'they'? Work superiors, spouse, girlfriend, boyfriend, children, creditors ... oh, such blood suckers :) Seriously though, if you must be truly honest with yourself, there is a part of yourself who also believes the same -- more. Do more. Give more. It begins with you. Value yourself and all that you do as you wish others would and see where that leads you.

Aquarius-Sun or Rising ~ Fuzzy, fuzzy logic. Oh, that Neptune retrograding in your sign. Luckily, you've got Uranus trailblazing in your house of thought. Don't doubt yourself too much this week. What doubts you may have are really just wanting you to check things out...look into whatever they may be and decide if they have merit. More often than not, these doubts are rooted in fear, however. So no, not valid enough to have cause to make you doubt yourself.

Pisces-Sun or Rising ~ Shopping is a nice escape this week. But not if your broke. And who really wants to window shop? All that does is show you all the things you could have. How cruel?! Woe is you. Snap out of it!! Uranus is working hard at increasing your income. No doubt. What you can do this week is create, make, do ... Uranus in Aries requires action. At this point, it doesn't matter much what you do, but perform it happily and with good/positive intentions. That is what Uranus will pick up on.

False starts. Abrupt endings. Slower process. Misunderstandings. All to be expected with Mercury (thought/communication) still acclimating himself as he gets settled into his retrograde state (introspective). The ill-fated, frustrating alignment between the Aries-Sun (conscious will) and Saturn (reality/restrictions), now back in Virgo, doesn't help matters as we begin the week.

Tuesday marks a big shift in celestial energies as both the Sun and Chiron (wounds/healing) change signs. The Sun enters Taurus and stays there for four weeks, a good time solidify plans and/or take well thought out steps toward goals. Chiron enters Pisces, where he remains until November; Chiron last transit in Pisces was during the 1960s.

Midweek quiets down a bit. As the weekend approaches and into the weekend, Venus (relationships/finances) gets busy making her rounds linking up to Neptune (insight/dreams), Uranus (awakening/surprises) and Saturn before leaving Taurus and entering Gemini on Sunday. Venus' move into Gemini should help lighten the serious tone created by the alignments between Mercury & Mars (assertion/aggression) and the Sun & Pluto (endings/purging).


ARIES ~ Finances may be a focus this week with Mercury retrograde in your income house. There may be delays in receiving money that is due to you or extra obstacles in finalizing agreements to a job contract, especially for those self-employed. Venus' move to Gemini at the end of the week may provide relief next week. So, be patient and stay positive.

TAURUS ~ Just let it roll off your back this week. Mercury retrograde in your sign may get frustrating as communications go haywire and delays cause a domino effect of troublesome issues. Don't let anything or anyone break your stride. Just take one step forward as you are able to.

GEMINI ~ With three planets now retrograde and each falling into the part of your chart that governs emotions/intuition, you are being urged to listen to your intuitive self more than usual. As a cerebral sign, logic is your preferred method. Be open, however, to heighten your heart and mind. Listen to that soft voice whispering to you in your quietest moments.

CANCER ~ Feel like you're on a treadmill? You're moving. You're running. Yet, you remain in the same spot. This week might feel a little or a lot like that, especially within your friendships. You're talking and no one is listening. But you keep getting asked for your opinion. Don't be frustrated and don't feel obligated to keep repeating yourself.

LEO ~ The future is not set and can still be molded, despite how much you've got it figured out. Mercury retrograde in your future goals house may post extra challenges at work this week but over the next three weeks, take the time to reflect upon what you now desire for your life. Where do you see yourself a year from now? What do you want for yourself?

VIRGO ~ As your ruler, Mercury, retrogrades in your travel house, make huge allowances for travel delays. Chiron also enters your relationships house this week and may cause communication with those significant to you an extra challenge this week. Keep tempers cool and frustration levels in check if you expect to arrive at decisions or gain results.

LIBRA ~ What's been holding you back? Family? The past? Your own psyche? The next few weeks is about purging yourself of what's got you stuck. You've let go of a lot already. This is just squeezing out the last few bits. So, take a deep breath and allow retrograde planets, Mercury, Saturn and Pluto, to help you delve deeper and scrape off what still festers.

SCORPIO ~ Are others looking at you as if you're speaking a foreign language? Or perhaps, it is you that thinks no one is making sense. Relationships may, indeed, be troublesome this week. Understanding what's being communicated is key. It may help to break down each idea or portion of the topic being discussed. Understand the pieces to see the bigger picture.

SAGITTARIUS ~ Deja vu? Huh? Didn't that happen already? Like, yesterday? Hmm... Events, issues, situations within the workplace may seem like a bad dream you keep re-living over and over, day after day. Don't let them see you sweat. Do what must be done … again and remember that, 'this, too, shall pass' eventually :)

CAPRICORN ~ Drama with your other half and/or children might be where your greatest challenges are this week. With Chiron entering your house of thought, you're also being urged to make some changes in how you think/process information and in your communication, all together. With Mercury also retrograde in your house of thought, you may find your mind wandering in places you haven't visited in a while or perhaps have never set foot in. Welcome whatever and wherever you may find yourself in. In the real world, however, be aware of who or what may give you difficulty this week even if you don't know the why. The long-awaited event of Mars moving direct finally occurs mid-week, sandwiched between Venus making challenging alignments with Saturn then Pluto. Relationships and/or finances (Venus) continue to be in focus from the weekend. But now reality sinks in (Saturn), we're even more determined and eager to get our gears in motion (Mars) as we accept that which we uncover (Pluto) during the week. Mars' forward motion ensures more action and follow through with our plans, as well as that which are due us, i.e. delayed payment for work already completed, decisions/actions from others we may have been waiting upon, or if we've let existing matters go unresolved, it's time to face the music.

The week closes with the Sun and Mercury blending energies. Both are in Pisces, where insight and understanding may be attained by seeking within. Conversations and interactions may also be more meaningful and agreeable. Logic and reason may be harder to come by. This energy is great for creative projects and/or any type of spiritual pursuits.

Wow, March already! Even with Mars retrograde, this year is just flying by...at least, it is for me. It's a very Mercurial (communication) and Venusian (relationships) week, as both change signs this week and make connections with other celestial bodies in the heavens.

Mercury starts off March and the week leaving the extroverted sign of Aquarius for the more private sign of Pisces early Monday morning. He then proceeds to get belligerent with Mars and Saturn, who are both still retrograde. So, luckily for Mercury, Mars and Saturn are currently introspective, just like the sign of Pisces. Instead of an all out screaming match, the week begins with thoughtful reflection on what we're doing (Mars) and why we're doing it (Saturn). By mid-week, Venus gets naughty with Uranus and all bets are off. In Pisces, both Venus and Uranus may be more subdued but the need to break out from “the usual” is just as great. Some might do a little impulsive shopping. Others might surprise the object of their affection with a spontaneous treat. With Mercury and Pluto also happily hanging out, some unexpected news may be revealed or secrets uncovered. *shhh*

Sunday brings us Venus' entrance in Aries. For weeks, she's been uber sweet and well-behaved in Pisces. Now, as soon as she makes her appearance in Aries, she moves in and gets her flirt on with Mars! Mercury blending energies with Jupiter suggest a fun, happy time to be had by all. Forgiveness comes easy. Overlooking flaws or offenses is automatic. If apologies are in order, today is an ideal day for groveling. Do it with sincerity, however. Mercury in Pisces is intuitive enough to recognize disingenuous gestures.

Aries-Sun or Rising ~ Truly listen to others this week, especially your loved one. Some things need to be said, heard, discussed and decided upon. You might have to dig deep to find your patience but make sure to use it. Venus arriving in your sign at end of the week is a welcome change from all this passive energy around.

Taurus-Sun or Rising ~ Watch out for drama unfolding. Perhaps you might be privy to something *hush hush* in which case, keep it so. It will most likely be exposed soon enough, and you certainly don't want to be known as the leak. If you're feeling he itch for shopping or just can't let a “sale” go unrecognized, grab a responsible who might help you keep some cash in your wallet or are you a plastic user? :) Keep aware of what you're buying. With Venus and Uranus coming together, you may just find yourself with purchases that leave you wondering “wth?” next week.

Gemini-Sun or Rising ~ You enjoy a bit of gossip as much as the next person. Just be careful what fills your conversations this week, especially if the news is work-related. Love relationship may be foggy earlier in the week. You might not be sure what's being asked of you or expected of you or what you might have said/done to merit the situation you now find yourself in. No worries. In a day or two, communications will be more fluid and the fog might be lifted just enough to figure out what's what. Single Geminis, Venus entering your house of friendships on Sunday could signal finding a love connection within your circle of friends now and in the weeks to come.

Cancer-Sun or Rising ~ Expand your mind this week. Be mindful of the “quieter” times. Enjoy the silence. If a little spontaneous travel is doable, go ahead and take a short getaway. Venus enters your career house later this week and next week Mars begins moving forward, lifting blockages with regards to income. So, busy work days ahead and finally, right? Cancers, who are self-employed or business owners, may have really felt the influence of this Mars retrograde. Hang in there...

Leo-Sun or Rising ~ If it seems like your being tested, there might be some truth in that so, tread lightly. Mercury might be stirring up some things with Mars, who is still a bit repressed in your sign. Mercury is stirring up trouble with Saturn as well, who is in your house of thought and communication. So there might be a slight misunderstanding or critical information missing for you to make any kind of judgement. More clarity may be gathered by mid-week. Enjoy the weekend when Venus gets happy with Mars.

Virgo-Sun or Rising ~ The past has a way of creeping up just when you least expect it. Sometimes, however, a peek into the past enlightens something in the present. Be discerning this week of glimpses from the past that somehow sheds understanding on what you're currently going through. Virgos who are in a business partnership can use the sky's happenings this week to talk business – financial status, marketing plan, revising the business model, etc. Coupled up Virgos can enjoy Mercury and Jupiter joining forces in your relationships house this weekend.

Libra-Sun or Rising ~ Busy work week. Where to begin?! Well, stay focused, do each task one after another and don't forget to breathe. Family and friends might want more of your time but won't actually tell you directly. You really don't have time to be a mind reader, too, this week. But you are a charmer, so I'm sure you'll handle the week just fine. Make sure to schedule in some time with your significant other by Sunday, when Venus lights up your relationships house.

Scorpio-Sun or Rising ~ Has everyone lost their mind and regressed back to the maturity of a two-year-old? Sometimes there's just no reasoning with people. They've decided long before the discussion ended. Let it go for now...and try not to pull your hair out. By Thursday, Mercury makes a lovely alignment with your ruler, Pluto. Broach the subject again then. Your luck might be better. The weekend brings a happy meeting between Mercury and Jupiter in your house of love. Celebrate with your loved one. If single, celebrate with your friends and keep an eye out for Mr./Ms. Right (Now).

Sagittarius-Sun or Rising ~ Between work and family, the week gets tiresome very early on. Cheer up, though, the weekend brings Venus' entrance to your house of love. So get obligations taken care of and look forward to spending the weekend re-igniting romance back into your life. A little weekend getaway might also be nice, weather/wallet/schedule permitting. If single, be like Venus in Aries and flirt boldly, confidently with whomever catches your eye.

Capricorn-Sun or Rising ~ Have you changed your mind about something? It's ok if you do. Some things have played out differently than what's been expected. It's natural to amend set rules or planned actions to meet current specifications. If there is doubt, however, consider waiting until Thursday when Mercury and Pluto get together, when the energy for focus and the ability to analyze the situation is stronger. The weekend brings Venus home to your house of family. Make time for loved ones.

Aquarius-Sun or Rising ~ If an income-building proposal lands on your desk or inbox, scrutinize it with a microscope. Venus (money) and Uranus' (unexpected) pairing up in your income house suggest it might be unconventional but worth a look. It might ultimately require a financial investment above what you're willing to commit to. Perhaps, look it over while Mercury (thinking) and Pluto (research) are in sync on Thursday. Mercury and Jupiter's union on Sunday brings optimism and more opportunities within your income house ... soon.

Pisces-Sun or Rising ~ Happy Birthday, March-born Pisceans! Are you ready to be a year older and much wiser? :) Mercury making a ruckus with Mars and Saturn early in the week might cause you to look at some things and make changes...perhaps this is health-related. It's a relatively quiet week, as we remain under Neptune and Chiron's umbrella of hopefulness and healing. Building upon their influence are the Pisces-Sun and Pluto who are harmoniously linked to one another as the week begins. As I mentioned last week, Neptune and Chiron coming together is a rare event and powerfully offers us the opportunity to break away from that which holds us back, even if it is our own selves. This week, the Sun and Pluto give us a chance to continue digging deep, while also being compassionate with ourselves. We'll need that compassion, as we continue to uncover and bring forth to the surface what's been hiding behind the shadows (our shadow).

The week starts off with much of the weekend's energies still focused on relationships. Venus and Pluto hook up, and our significant ties gets a deeper look. All the while, Mars and Saturn also link up, and whatever actions or decisions we make have longterm or permanent affects. It's all very optimistic though because Neptune and Chiron finally perfect their union, offering up some hope and much needed healing or release. This is a rare astrological event that's been two years in the making. It is a powerful energy of gaining insight and breaking through. Do not let it pass without making use of it. Give in to the process. Elsewhere in the sky, Venus is also locked in an embrace with the planet of possibilities and happiness, Jupiter, giving support to Neptune and Chiron's efforts.

It seems that the worst is behind us. Venus conjoins with Chiron ad Neptune, giving us hope that whatever may be “broken” will not remain so. All that's needed is our commitment to the cause.

Mid-week, Mercury enters the brainy, friendly sign of Aquarius after an extended stay in disciplined Capricorn. Our minds are free to roam and conversations are free to express without the Capricorn conservative restrictions, which is timely because Mars decides to get in a ruckus with jovial Jupiter. Inhibitions lifted. In Leo, Mars, though retrograde, is up for some fun and spontaneity. Venus changes signs and enters Pisces on Thursday, giving matters of love a dreamy outlook; and in matters of finances, we're apt to give in and shop or be extra generous, especially to those less fortunate than ourselves.

WeeklyScopes ~ February 1 to 7, 2010Freedom in Acceptance

February begins with the Moon in discriminating Virgo, which may intensify recent happenings. We may still be feeling a backlash from the challenging and tense meeting between Saturn and Pluto from the previous day. Expect to be under their influence throughout the week. Saturn in Libra focuses upon our relationships (personal, professional, familial) and/or our relationship patterns. Pluto in Capricorn is persistent in identifying and purging the flaws, cracks and unnecessaries, in order to transform what no longer serves into something that functions as we need them to. For some, these may be issues that were first touched upon, with much difficulty, last fall. This energy lifts but may be revisited later this summer.

Sounds a little rough but by mid-week, the Moon enters friendly, lighthearted Libra. Then, as she slips into Scorpio for the weekend, Jupiter connects with Saturn then Pluto, and Mercury harmonizes with Uranus. Our mind is open to possibilities, our interactions capricious, and our mood filled with optimism despite having accepted some harsh truths during the week.

WeeklyScopes ~ January 25 to 31, 2010Tensions Rising

Mercury, now direct and still in Capricorn, starts off the week in a pickle with Mars who is still retrograde in Leo. Mid-week to Friday, Venus followed by the Sun, who are both in Aquarius, will also each connect with Mars. All this Martian energy in Leo against Capricorn and Aquarius are filled with willfulness and purpose but there is conflict in what approach and direction to take. As we relate (Venus) to our individual situations, our conscious will (the Sun) is determined to immediately break away and move forward (Aquarius). But our minds (Mercury) analyze the here, the now, the consequences; and we're urged to take the more conservative route (Capricorn). Be level-headed. To some degree, we can be thankful that Mars is retrograde and in a more introspective state. Lest our actions/decisions may work at cross-purposes. Yielding to Jupiter might also be beneficial; he has been in the peaceable, insightful sign of Pisces for about a week now. Those who are early born water signs or whose birth charts carries significant weight in water might be able to tap into Jupiter's energies more readily.
